On December 14, 2017, my family and l traveled a long hour and a half in the cold snowy weather to eat at Famous Dave's, and to be completely honest the food sucks. The ribs was as greasy as can be, roasted chicken had no flavor, it tasted bland and not fully cooked, the bake beans tasted as tho they were poured straight from a generic can. We ordered the chicken wrapped up in toco shells also, why was the chicken slices so stuff and big. The waitress stood over me most of the time, she darn near rushed us out of the before l felt like vomiting! ...what a sad, waste of hard earned money of $108.00 tasteless place. This Famous Daves place is over rated!!!!!! Please peoples don't waste your taste buds or cash at this bad barn!

My father and I went on 12/26/17 the restaurant was not crowded at all on this Tuesday night. We ordered our meal and waited 40 minutes for our food. It took 15 minutes to bring our side salad. We almost just got up and left. We saw a group of three come in, get seated, eat their food and leave before we even got our check. The food was good. But the fries were soggy. Overall the service was extremely slow.
I visited this place 7 months ago, and it was the first barbecue I had since coming back from Dallas, Texas. Needless to say I was anxious that this would not live up to that. I was certainly not disappointed. The sauce was delicious, namely because there were so many options to suit any person's taste. The meat was cooked perfectly, and our waitress was very friendly. She even gave us a whole bottle of our favorite sauce that night since it was our first time there!
stopped by on my way from work to pick us up some dinner on 12/6/17. I am a regular but in this case I am thinking one more chance as the quality may be getting cut back. Where to start? on the menu it states that the fires are "Crispy-fried, thick-cut, skin-on Russet potato wedges." - what did I get - looked like someone went down to McDonalds and got them and threw them in with the meal - definitely NOT wedges and far from thick cut. Absolutely no flavor and no seasoning - someone forget the salt ? and crispy - HA - soggy more like it. I ordered ribs and brisket dinners - brisket was over half gristle - could not eat it - the ribs - used to be fall off the bones - the only thing that fell off were my teeth as I was trying to to them off the bone. I was thinking of returning this horrible meal - but I live too far away and was simply too lazy to get back in the car and go out in the cold. It is obvious that they are either cutting back on quality (fries) or there was no quality control (serving fatty and under cooked food) - will give them one more chance and if not back to way they were - then off to find another place. BTW - we could not finish this meal - it went into the garbage and we nuked leftovers - $45 down the drain.
Love, love, love! Anytime I'm even CLOSE I eat here. Always great food, great service, great time! Sampler platter is great way to find favorites and the feasts are a great way to please everyone (and have left overs!) Also love that the sauces are on the table, you can try them all and use whatever ones you want!
