I thought that this was going to be a fond experience for me as a bartender. Sadly, the supervisor above me, Bill, who I witnessed DRINK on the job, let me go with no notice or reasoning after only 3 weeks after the hotel's opening.
The woman in HR who hired me, Patty, refused to speak about my termination, ignoring my calls. I witnessed very passive and hypocritical behavior of management staff especially this woman. I am sorry for anyone else who will have a similar experience working here.
Wonderful and gorgeously appointed hotel and rooms. Super welcoming staff (especially Miguel!) who will go out of their way to make you feel comfy and at ease during your stay. All of this was super appreciated after a long and taxing flight. Highly recommend staying here!
Stayed here with friends two weeks ago. Hotel is beautiful, the gentleman bartender, Ian, was amazing, great conversation and very professional! Loved the pool area and the room was amazing! Only downside, seems to be poorly managed, the front desk agents were unorganized and did not seem to know how to do their jobs, they did not seem to be well put together. It could've been the distraction from the loud horseplay that seemed to be happening around the front area though. We will stay at another Aloft again but not sure about this one.
Great hotel in an excellent location! Shopping nearby and quick access to highway. Jasmine at the front desk was very pleasant and friendly! My family and I would definitely stay again.
My efforts were completely unseen and ignored. Every time guests came to the bar I was complimented as they 'hoped that I would be working the next time they were there." I also received comments such as "We like hanging out with you Mallory," and "Cheers to Mallory's cocktails." Yet I am let go, kinda funny.
Brand new hotel pretty close to the airport. Hotel provides a shuttle to the airport. Rooms are super modern and was completely surprised by the bean bag chairs in the room. Lobby has a nice lounge area with a pool table and bar. Nearby mall has plenty to eat and do, even if you just want to walk around. About 20 minutes from downtown and very easy to get to.
