Same overpriced merchandise. One couch in entire store was less than 500. One!! It looked decent and was nice for comfort but this store needs some lower end models. It didn't even have a loveseat to go with it !! The people were nice but it's like they don't care about your business when you tell them you don't want a $1500 couch.
When we bought our couch we thought we were getting a deal. They were willing to haggle with us for what we thought was going to be a new couch. We explicitly asked them if the couch was coming from the warehouse. When they delivered the couch, it turns out it was the floor model. I called and asked to speak to the manager that sold us the couch but he refused to talk to us, going through the poor lady on the phone who had no part to play in it. They said that they made it clear that we would be getting the floor model, but that definitely wasnt the case. I remember specifically asking 4 or 5 times if they had one in stock at their warehouse and each time was told yes.....never buying from there again. The only thing I'll admit is that they were all very friendly while we were in the store and they did remember us over the course of a few visits.
It took a week to find the perfect combination, but now that it has been delivered, I am more than pleased with our new sofa.
The owner Steve Kaplan is first class and makes us feel like family every time we return. If you are looking for good quality and fair pricing, there is no other option than Kaplan Furniture.
Update: after owning the couch for a year it's starting to fall apart. DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY HERE
And, true to our philosophy, we chose a Broyhill sofa, which was made in the U.S.A.
