Slow, poor communication, but one of a few decent locations. Originally I gave them only 2 stars, but I was happy to hear they went out of their way to make things right after a repair took longer than it should have. I believe they do honest work, it just takes longer then desired.
Came in at 5pm, car still on lift and they were just starting the mounting and balancing of tires… Finally done at 5:40pm and when I looked at the work order the only thing that was performed was the mounting of the tires - no wheel alignment and no struts/shocks. When I inquired why they didn’t at least do the wheel alignment the same front counter person started blankly at the work order and said it wasn’t on there.
I already knew what was wrong with my car I told them what I needed and asked for a price. The woman basically ignored me and said I would have to pay $104.00 to get their own diagnostics done. What a scam. I used the same machine that they would have had I taken my business there. It took me ten minutes at advanced auto parts. If you are considering going there do you think ten minutes of work is worth a hundred and four dollars? They are greedy that makes me think what else would they raise the price on. I went to write a review and at the top was " Its great to be the niece of the owner got a great family discount" The reason they can afford to give discounts to family is because they charge outrageous rates to the rest of us. Do not go there if you value the money in your pocket.
I went w/ a neighbor...she had an appointment, they finally took the car into the garage an hour later. About 45 minutes after that they come out to say they were waiting for a company to bring the other wiper...needless to say, we were there for 2 hours and 20 minutes for an oil change and wiper replacement having an appointment. All she got was her next oil change free and the employee, instead of taking the blame, tried putting it on the wiper company...Not satisfied at all. Very ecstatic to not have a car...
Avoid this Conrads location at all costs. Stopped in on a Tuesday to make an appointment – gave the front counter person details of work that I wanted performed – 4 new tires mounted/balanced, all wheels aligned and replace shocks/struts (car hit 100k miles and was due). Dropped my car off on scheduled day (2 hours early) and same person running the counter (20 year old “kid”) asked what was I dropping the car for – he apparently never entered ANY of the details in to the system. Repeated everything again and he said car would be ready by 5pm.
Bad service. Slow. Fix it just enough so you have to return and spend more time and money. Don't waste your time at this location.
**Update to my initial review – after being very unsatisfied and leaving my review, Spencer the service manager at the North Olmsted location contacted me the very next morning and we spoke about the issues I had with service. I was refunded the service charge for mounting 4 tires and he assured me that he used my review as a learning lesson to better his staff. He was very genuine in his apology, didn’t use any excuses and truly was sorry for the lack of attention to detail that I experienced. He did offer me a free wheel alignment and a discount on the other work I wanted performed and while appreciated, I declined the offers.**
