Wish I could leave 0 stars.. so we ordered flowers to be delivered to my mother in law (who lost her husband to cancer a few years ago) from her son on Valentine's Day. Waited and waited to hear from her.. he called her February 15 because we did did hear anything(and she would have definitely said something if they were received). Well they were not delivered at the day specified. Called and called and called today to try to figure out why Always went to a voicemail which was not not set up.. so getting quite a bit pissed off kept trying finally somebody answered giving excuses about their truck bla bla bla.. and so I asked what about a f**^ing phone call to let me know!!!!!!!!!!!!! Got nothing other than they were going to be delivered today. And yes they were delivered while she wasn't there many flowers dead and my mother in law( the recipient) had to go up and take them back and complaining them before I even knew about it.. was just trying to support licsl businesses but would have neen better going with a 1 800.. going to get my money back would have let it go if the flowers weren't dead but I'm sorry they ducked up even after the chance to a little Redemption.. Do Not Buy From Here read the other reviews I know whether posted or not I was not the only one affected onValentine's Day...

Great People and Great flowers! They were very accommodating and helpful with all our wedding needs. They complimented the church well and then really made our reception pop! I could not say a bad thing about our experience. Jim Hales is the man!

They should not have offered to deliver on the holiday if they did not want to. I have always loved Hales but this really upset me!

I'm so disappointed. He couldn't speak without being rude. He couldn't just listen, and sincerely apologize. I didn't want anything from him, but an acknowledgement that the flowers maybe weren't up to FTD quality. Nope. All I got was a dial tone. (Edited to add that today, one day later, their facebook page is now gone. Hence my posting here on Google.)

The flowers are beautiful but I was very disappointed that they were delivered the day before the day I scheduled. My best friends birthday is on christmas eve and I like to make it special for her, Hales offered delivery on christmas eve so picked that day knowing she would be home! Hales delivered them the night before without asking me or letting me know. My friend was out for her birthday so the babysitter answered the door and accepted the flowers:(

When I told him I was discontent, he said I was the only one. I mentioned that there were others on their facebook page and he asked how old they were. I then referenced the other 2 complaints within the past 12 months.

I am originally from North Ridgeville but live in Germany now. I ordered flowers for my sister in Elyria through FTD who forwarded the order to Hales. My sister was thankful for her flowers, but I was disappointed because what I ordered was nothing like what she received. I called Hales directly to express my discontent. It was suggested to email Jim, the owner. I did and requested a response via email (since I'm overseas). Today is Thursday - after having received no email, I called. Jim answered. He apologized in a half-hearted way, reminding me that he upgraded my little 4 inch cube to a 5 inch (which I did not know) and talked about the flowers he used. I tried to explain that the flowers I ordered were elegant and the flowers received were gaudy, but he talked over me multiple times. My complaint was NOT about the value. My complaint was about my dissatisfaction of the colors and the quality of flowers used (one of the flowers had a missing petal). He hung up on me. Whatever happened to supporting small town owners? I tried my best, but he was the rudest person I've spoken to in a long time.

Ordered flowers online. Upgraded to premium, the photo showed roses. Instead of roses I got carnations in a heart shape. Looked good but paid extra for heart shaped roses. They refused to fix order.
